Why the top 200 matters

The list Pump.fun surfaces first.

Pump.fun just shipped an app store update that puts Top 200 at the top of the Coins tab. It is the leaderboard they chose to promote above everything else. That means the top 200 is where the liquidity, attention, and momentum concentrate on the protocol. S&P200 tracks that exact ranking, so one token gives you exposure to the part of Pump.fun the platform itself cares about most.

The Pump.fun app now places Top 200 at the front of the Coins tab, above Movers, Mayhem, and Trenches. S&P200 mirrors that exact ranking.

The basket, Top 200

Live from pump.fun, ranked by market cap

How $S&P200 actually works.

$S&P200 is not a chart bet on a mascot. It's a tokenized index fund built on Solana that holds the underlying 200 coins in a single on chain vault. Every $S&P200 is a redeemable claim on a proportional slice of that vault.

  1. 01

On chain vault holds the basket

A Solana program (SPL vault) custodies the actual tokens of every constituent in the Pump.fun Top 200. The vault's balances are public and verifiable on chain at any block.

  2. 02

    Mint and redeem, backed 1:1

Deposit SOL and the program routes buys across the 200 constituents at their current index weight, then mints you $S&P200. Redeem $S&P200 and the program sells the underlying pro rata and returns SOL. Supply is always backed by real inventory.

  3. 03

    Market cap weighting

Each coin's weight in the basket equals its market cap divided by the sum of the top 200 market caps, capped so no single coin exceeds a hard ceiling (e.g. 5%). Bigger coins get more of your dollar, dust coins stay dust.

  4. 04

Continuous rebalance from the Pump.fun feed

A keeper reads the official Pump.fun Top 200 ranking every block. When a coin drops out of the 200, the vault sells it and rotates into the new entrant. Existing weights drift with price and are re pegged on a set cadence to keep tracking error low.

  5. 05

    NAV, live

Because the vault holdings and $S&P200 supply are on chain, the net asset value per token is computable in real time. That's the number you see updating on this page. Price on the market will trade around NAV; arbitrage between mint/redeem and DEXs keeps it honest.

  6. 06

    Fees pay for the rails

A small mint/redeem fee (bps) funds keeper gas, rebalance slippage, and a treasury multisig. No management fee, no team unlock. Fees and treasury flows are all visible on chain.

TL;DR

You send SOL, the program buys 200 memes in the right ratio and mints you one token that represents them. When the Pump.fun leaderboard changes, the vault changes with it. Burn the token anytime to get your share of the basket back in SOL.
